Breakups happen to everyone. This includes major artists. They have shared the same level of pain and heart break as you have. Fortunately for all of us they have created great works of music in order for all of us to cope with the loss of a loved one.

Now my taste may be different from others but I really believe that some of the best break up songs are from contemporary artists. And finally when I am really ready to move I find that these are the best songs to listen to when you really want to move on:

2. Destiny’s Child– Survivor
3. Lara Fabian– I Will Love Again
4. Christina Aguilera– Fighter

So there you have it. Some of the best break up songs of all time. Now while there are plenty more of these songs out there I just find myself listening to these songs the most often.
