Break Up Help For Those Still In Love With Their Exs

Still in love with your ex? Looking around for break up help? Well now you find yourself without the person you’re still in love with you either have to find help to move on or help to win them back.

If you feel you should move on then the kind of break up help you’re going to need depends largely on how bad the relationship and the end of the relationship was. If it was a major drama that really and seriously took it out of you emotionally, then without a doubt you’re going to need plenty of time to recover and get over the relationship.

Taking care of yourself is always key after any emotional turmoil, but in this case where you’ve been tossed around and you still feel that you love your ex, it is even more key. Don’t give yourself a hard time for any decisions you made that you now feel in retrospect were wrong decisions. You did the best you could with what you had, so relax and allow yourself to be human.

Make sure that the break up help you need is to look after you and not to look after your ex and what they might be going through. You have left them behind and though you still have strong feelings for them, they are no longer your responsibility.

If you feel you need to talk to a professional to help you put the whole relationship into perspective then you should do this as soon as possible. In a situation where you’re still feeling vulnerable and emotional, the sooner you regain your composure and any eroded self-esteem the better.

If the kind of break up help you’re looking for is help to get your ex back, then you need to do some of the things outlined above, but then you also have to make sure you’re implementing a strategy to bring you full circle so you can make up with your ex.

So follow what’s already been outlined: taking care of yourself first and foremost, talk to a professional if you feel you have to and forget about your ex for a few weeks while you recover self-esteem and direction.

Once you’re through the initial re-grouping stage, you then make contact with your ex. Ask for a meeting somewhere neutral. When you meet your ex, calmly and without being overly emotional explain that you still have feelings for them. Explain that you’ve had time to think and you’d like another chance to make your relationship work. Take the time to listen to your ex and hear their point of view, you don’t necessarily have to agree with them, but you need to listen.

You then give them time to think and leave to wait for them to call you. Truth is it could go either way. Using this break up help guarantees nothing. Just know this, you have given it your best shot so there is no need to spend endless hours beating yourself up.

Dating After Being Dumped – How soon?

Getting dumped just plain sucks! It hurts when someone you care about no longer wants anything to do with you. When the pain of the breakup is still present it is really tough to decide when to go back into the dating game.

When to get back to dating will vary from person to person. If the time when you dated was shorter then this time period when you can start to date again will also be shorter. After all you have not as much emotional investment in the relationship. However, if the relationship lasted for years then you need to get prepared to handle the dating scene again. These wounds from a previous relationship take time to heal. Let them heal. There is no rush as this is your life.

When you date someone and it is very serious then you start to make changes in your life. You try and get both of your goals in line with each other. If you are serious about this person then you really start to trust them as well. There are sacrifices that you have to make in order to keep you both together. After all it is a future together is what you want. After being dumped there has to be a lot of bitterness involved because you made so many changes.

To get over this bitterness you should really involve yourself in your work and hobbies. Try and make it easy to forget this person and move on. If you can make new friends then do so. Have you wanted to join a club? Then join that club and get out and socialize. If you can work on cleaning yourself from the previous relationship then you have a much better chance of having a successful one in the future.

Once you are sure you have got your emotions under control then it is time to go back out into the dating game.

Breaking up sucks but this does not have to be the end of the relationship. See if you can get him or her back into your life. Many have been successful in the past. So why not you? You only have yourself to blame for not trying.

Moving on after a break up

Moving on after a break up or other type of loss can be one of the most difficult things anyone can experience. This can really wreck your whole life and leave everything in tatters. You cannot help but reminded of your ex with everything you see and do. It is just so difficult at times.

Your family and friends can make the whole process of moving on a whole lot harder. If your loved one was popular I am sure you are going to be barraged by lots of questions as to what happened in the relationship. The best thing to do here is to kindly explain to them that you are moving on with your life. If you can explain to them that the constant reminders of the person you lost is really hurting you then they will back off and let you move on.

Sometimes moving on can be worse if you had a lot of mutual friends. Hanging out with friends that have only known you as a couple can be even worse. If your ex wants to hang out with your friends then this can be a great problem in trying to move on. Just because you broke up with your partner does not mean that you have to break up with your friends. However keep in mind that your friends are going to have a tough time with this as well if you insist on being separate from each other.

Sadly however to be more realistic you may have to give up some of your previous friends. It is just the way the world works. Get over it. Some of your friends are going to side with your ex on the matter and you are probably going to be better off leaving them as friends. If you can occasionally hang out then ths fine but try to keep a distance and do not talk badly about your ex in front of them.

One of the best ways to get away from this whole situation is to go on a vacation. IF you can change your surroundings and perhaps get new friends then it will be far easier to move on. Giving up that past life is one of the toughest things you can do but normally it all works out in the end.
